Marcela Hernandez’s international interests began when she was very young with her studies in English and French.  Nonetheless, her natural inclination toward esthetics, which is part of her essence, would impose itself in her professional development.

In 1982 she opened her shop Colomba in Santiago, Chile, presenting an extraordinary line of clothing for the contemporary woman to the local market.  The concept of simple and harmonious lines in natural fibers characterized her style from the beginning – simple, elegant, yet sophisticated style.  The response was very successful.

At the end of 1995 and taking this concept further, Marcela Hernández expanded her line to home textiles with a fine selection of products in natural fibers.  In 1998 she unveiled her line of products for the home in The New York Home Textile Show, which received a great response.  Marcela Hernández continued expanding and moved towards new developments in interior design with her characteristic style.

Today all this experience is concentrated in her lifestyle proposal, which includes both clothing and home products.  Her shop is located in the exclusive area of Alonso de Córdova in Santiago.  She offers a fine selection of home textile products and lounge wear for her and for him in natural fibers.
